Collections Specialist III

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of complex accounts, the full-time Credit-Past Due Collections Specialist III will resolve non-standard deductions, handle cash applications, and serve as an escalation point for junior team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collections on assigned complex accounts, including retailer-specific compliance requirements
• Research and resolve deductions and chargebacks, escalating amounts above approval authority
• Establish and adjust credit lines for new and existing accounts in accordance with company policies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college-level accounting coursework preferred
• 3 to 5 years of credit, collections, or accounts receivable experience required
• Experience with retailer deductions and vendor portals
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and AI tools
