Job Summary
Seeking a highly organized and experienced College Admissions Advisor, this full-time remote position will guide students and families through the college admissions process by developing personalized strategies, managing application timelines, and preparing competitive applications for selective universities.
Key responsibilities
- Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, and application timelines via regular meetings and ongoing communication
- Help students build competitive profiles aligned with their academic interests and target universities
- Advise on the strategic positioning of students' stories and achievements across the UC application system and the Common App
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring experience
- Experience as an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) and/or Public High School College Counselor preferred
- Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQs
- Strong understanding of Top 100 U.S. universities and admissions strategy
- Proficient in using modern communication and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Google Drive, and Slack
