College Admissions Coach
Job Summary
To support students navigating the college admissions process, the full-time remote Student Success Coach will guide families through academic planning, admissions strategy, and application positioning while serving as the primary point of contact for a caseload of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, and application timelines
- Help students build competitive profiles aligned with their academic interests and target universities
- Advise on strategic positioning for UC applications and the Common App, ensuring effective storytelling and presentation of achievements
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring experience
- Experience as an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) is strongly preferred
- Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQs
- Strong understanding of the admissions landscape for Top 100 U.S. universities
- Proficiency in using digital tools such as Zoom, Google Drive, and Slack
