College Admissions Counselor

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive academic and college advising services, the part-time College Admissions Counselor will assist middle and high school students through the college admissions process while working remotely and managing a pre-determined caseload of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Guide students and families through all aspects of the college preparation, search, and application process
• Collaborate with College Admissions Coaches and other counselors to support student needs
• Deliver college admissions webinars and assist with marketing efforts as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; higher level degree preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in undergraduate admissions at a selective college or university
• Deep knowledge of the college admissions and application process
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, including public speaking
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during the application season
