Job Summary
Supporting middle and early high school students through the college admissions process, the part-time remote College Admissions Counselor will create academic and extracurricular road maps, provide application feedback, and assist with career development strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Advise students on extracurricular activities and meaningful summer plans to enhance their college applications
- Create standardized testing plans and assist with college lists, application materials, and strategies for admissions processes
- Maintain communication with students and parents, ensuring timely session preparation and logging
Required qualifications
- Graduate from a top 50 national university, with advanced degrees preferred
- Experience as a college counselor for high school students, with a successful track record of admissions to top 50 universities
- Availability in the afternoons and/or weekends to meet with students
- Passion for education, with skills in teaching, essay writing, and editing
- Commitment to providing multi-year support to students
