Job Summary
To support high school students through the college admissions process, the part-time Former Admissions Officer will create academic and extracurricular road maps, provide application structure and feedback, and assist with passion discovery, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Keep up to date with current college admission changes and advise students accordingly
- Guide students through the entire application process, including personal statements, essays, and college lists
- Help students plan meaningful summer activities and standardized testing strategies
Required qualifications
- Graduate from a top 50 national university, with advanced degrees preferred
- Experience as a Former Admissions Officer at a top 50 national university
- Track record of successful college counseling for high school students
- Consistent availability in the afternoons and/or on weekends
- Passion for education and expertise in essay writing and editing
