Seeking a Colorado Licensed Associate Attorney, the full-time position in Denver offers the opportunity to manage complex civil defense cases, including personal injury and commercial litigation, while gaining substantive litigation experience and mentorship from seasoned attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case strategies and independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff, maintaining professional communication with clients and nurturing relationships
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team growth and success
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the state of Colorado
- 2+ years of insurance defense experience and 1-8 years of solid litigation experience
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload, from discovery through trial
- Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems
