Colorado Licensed Associate General Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking a Colorado Licensed Associate General Counsel, the full-time position will manage commercial and regulatory legal matters, partner with various teams to develop compliant products, and engage with state regulators, while primarily working onsite in New York City with a hybrid schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a legal advisor across multiple practice areas, focusing on commercial and regulatory issues in residential real estate
- Drive commercial partnerships from inception to execution, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering Teams to balance innovation and legal risk in product offerings
Required qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in commercial and/or regulatory law, ideally from both law firm and in-house roles
- Strong background in negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts, particularly with large companies
- Familiarity with laws governing residential real estate, mortgage lending, and title insurance
- Ability to navigate evolving regulations in a business context and work independently
- State bar admission in good standing
