Colorado Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient financial services, the full-time Colorado Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and coordinate insurance verifications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as required
• Register patients for services, ensuring accurate demographic information and insurance details
• Manage communication between clinical and consumer access departments to improve the patient experience

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of insurance benefits and medical terminology
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred
