Colorado Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the remote Corporate Counsel will provide legal counsel on corporate matters, focusing on commercial contracts and governance, while managing a high volume of agreements and collaborating with compliance teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including contracts and licensing agreements
• Advise on corporate governance matters and assist with corporate transactions and strategic initiatives
• Develop contract templates and maintain internal guidance to streamline the contracting process

Required qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of residence
• 4+ years of experience in corporate, contracts, or transactional law, preferably in-house
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to manage a high volume of agreements
• Familiarity with government contracting or export controls is a plus
• Excellent judgment and business acumen, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly
