Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Colorado Licensed Fire Alarm Consultant, the full-time position will involve designing, evaluating, and consulting on fire alarm systems while working onsite in Denver, CO, with potential for remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform consulting and design for fire alarm and mass notification systems, including layout and project specifications
- Create and review fire alarm shop drawings and assess existing installations through site evaluations
- Conduct testing and commissioning activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and providing mentorship to junior staff
Required Qualifications
- NICET Level III or IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems is required
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in fire alarm consulting, design, or inspection
- Strong understanding of fire protection engineering principles and life safety codes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, fire protection, or a related field preferred but not required with commensurate experience
