Colorado Licensed Mortgage Assistant
Job Summary
To support a high-performance team remotely, the Colorado Licensed Mortgage Assistant will manage multiple loan files through origination, processing, underwriting, and closing while ensuring an exceptional client experience and maintaining compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Keep multiple loan files moving through the origination process on time
- Evaluate loan scenarios and match borrowers with appropriate products
- Review and package complete loan applications while maintaining accurate files in Encompass
Required qualifications
- Active NMLS license is mandatory
- Minimum of 3 years in mortgage lending (processing, origination, title, escrow, or underwriting)
- Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA, RD, and SAFE Act guidelines
- Proficiency with Encompass, Optimal Blue, DU, LP, and Microsoft Office
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
