Colorado Licensed Nurse Advisor

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Colorado Licensed Nurse Advisor will perform telephone triage during night shifts, including one weekend night per week, to assess patient needs, provide care advice, and document nursing assessments and interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Collects and evaluates patient health data to identify unique needs and provide appropriate care advice
• Reviews medications and health history to ensure accurate guideline selection and documentation
• Integrates quality improvement activities into practice and adjusts care recommendations based on patient-specific situations

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• 1-3 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in advice line, emergency department, urgent care, or triage
• Current RN license and BLS certification required
• Ability to provide age-appropriate triage and treatment dispositions for a diverse patient population
• Proficiency in using computer software for triage and documentation
