Job Summary
To support the pharmacy department, the full-time Colorado Licensed Pharmacy Technician will perform technical tasks including answering calls, processing prior authorizations, and managing basic computer operations in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring proper documentation and call center etiquette
- Process and implement decisions for prior authorizations based on established criteria
- Triage and escalate issues beyond the pharmacy technician's scope to supervisors or pharmacists as needed
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of a post high school pharmacy technician training program preferred
- At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a healthcare or retail setting required
- CPHT-Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required
- PHAT-Licensed Pharmacy Technician certification required
