Job Summary
Seeking a Colorado Licensed Physician, the contract position of Emotional Support Animal Assessor will conduct virtual evaluations to determine clients' needs for emotional support animals, exercising independent clinical judgment while working remotely with flexible hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough virtual ESA evaluations, providing undivided attention to each client
- Issue emotional support animal letters when criteria are met and document assessments clearly
- Collaborate with clients and the Pettable team on any necessary follow-up support or documentation
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in Colorado
- Possession of personal malpractice insurance
- Experience with virtual consultations preferred but not required
- Familiarity with prescribing emotional support animal letters is a plus
