Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time Colorado Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will manage caseload reviews with Behavioral Health Care Managers, recommend treatment plans, and conduct telehealth evaluations for patients with behavioral health needs related to oncology.
Key responsibilities
- Provide systematic caseload review and collaborate with Behavioral Health Care Managers during interdisciplinary team meetings
- Recommend evidence-based medication and treatment plans to referring oncologists and primary care providers
- Conduct direct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth for patients requiring specialty assessment
Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Colorado APRN license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with full prescriptive authority
- Active DEA registration with Colorado state controlled substance authority
- Board certification through ANCC (PMHNP-BC)
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited psychiatric mental health NP program
- Minimum three years of independent psychiatric prescribing experience with adult populations
