Colorado Licensed Radiology Coder

Job Summary

To support the Radiology team, the part-time Colorado Licensed Radiology Coder will manage coding for professional charges, ensuring accurate billing by verifying information, assigning ICD-10 codes, and reviewing CPT accuracy, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process professional charges for accurate and timely billing
• Gather charge information and abstract billable services from medical records
• Serve as a liaison for coding and billing matters among faculty, administrators, and hospital personnel

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of Radiology coding experience preferred
• CPC or equivalent certification required
• Ability to organize and work independently in a professional setting
• Demonstrated team building skills and leadership ability
