Job Summary
To improve access to specialized rheumatology care for underserved populations, the part-time Colorado Licensed Rheumatologist will conduct remote consultations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications while working as a PRN/1099 Independent Contractor.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct remote consultations to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for rheumatic and autoimmune diseases
- Provide personalized care and prescribe appropriate medications, including DMARDs and biologics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain accurate patient records
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Minimum of 1 year practice experience in Rheumatology
- Active DEA certification and Board Certification/Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- At least one unrestricted state license (any state in the U.S.), with a preference for a Colorado license
- Telemedicine experience preferred but not required
