Job Summary
Seeking a Colorado Licensed Transportation Underwriter, the full-time position will underwrite and manage a transportation renewal portfolio, maintain broker relationships, and support profitable growth, with options for remote work and a hybrid schedule for Denver-based employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite and manage a transportation-focused renewal portfolio, ensuring profitability and retention
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers and negotiate renewal terms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support portfolio performance and client satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience, with at least 3 years in transportation
- Experience managing broker relationships within wholesale distribution channels
- Knowledge of commercial transportation risks, including trucking and fleet exposures
- Strong underwriting, risk assessment, and decision-making skills
- Property & Casualty License required or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire
