Job Summary

Detail-oriented and culturally attuned, the part-time Comment Moderator will review and investigate user-generated content to ensure compliance with Community Guidelines in a remote contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Review and moderate visual and written content submitted by users
• Investigate potential violations of Community Guidelines and take appropriate actions
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding user data and moderation decisions

Required qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience moderating user-generated content (e.g., comments, forums, or social media trust & safety)
• Culturally aware of current trends, slang, and pop culture in the U.S
• Technically savvy and able to quickly learn new systems
• High-speed internet connection required
• Comfortable reviewing graphic, sensitive, or disturbing content regularly
