Job Summary
To support a leading global technology company's Procurement Legal team, the full-time Commercial Counsel will provide interim legal assistance focused on high-volume supplier contract repapering and integration, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various commercial agreements in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and redline a high volume of supplier and vendor agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs
- Repaper inherited vendor agreements using company-approved templates and identify gaps from established legal standards
- Negotiate directly with suppliers and external counsel to resolve contractual issues within integration timelines
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- Approximately 2-5 years of experience in commercial contracting, procurement, or technology transactions
- Strong drafting, redlining, and negotiation skills across a variety of commercial agreements
- Ability to manage a high-volume contract workload while balancing competing priorities and deadlines
