Commercial Counsel (Contract)

Job Summary

To support a high-volume commercial legal function, the full-time Commercial Counsel (Contract) will draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements while collaborating with business stakeholders in a remote environment for a duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including SaaS and technology contracts
• Manage contract negotiations from intake through execution, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues
• Provide practical legal guidance on day-to-day commercial matters while utilizing established contracting workflows

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 4+ years of commercial contracting experience, preferably in-house
• Significant experience negotiating SaaS, software, and technology agreements
• Experience working with Ironclad or a comparable contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform
• Ability to independently manage multiple commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment
