Job Summary
To support a leading fintech organization, the full-time Commercial Counsel (Contract) will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements while providing legal guidance to business stakeholders in a remote setting for a duration of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor and customer contracts
- Provide day-to-day legal advice on contractual, operational, and compliance matters to business stakeholders
- Identify and assess legal and commercial risks, developing practical mitigation strategies for business initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial contracting experience
- Strong background in fintech, payments, or consumer finance sectors
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements in high-growth environments
- Familiarity with fintech products and regulatory considerations in consumer finance
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to manage a high volume of commercial matters
