Commercial Counsel (Licensed Attorney)

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Commercial Counsel (Licensed Attorney) will manage customer agreements, research collaborations, and vendor contracts remotely, focusing on life sciences and computational chemistry while building a dynamic legal infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own customer deals end to end, structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements in life sciences and computational chemistry
• Negotiate and build capabilities for broader contract work, including NDAs and vendor agreements across business units
• Collaborate with science and business teams to proactively identify key issues and facilitate problem-solving processes

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree, with admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 6+ years of substantive commercial transactional experience with a record of closing complex technology or science-driven deals
• Deep understanding of business and commercial engagement structures, including IP ownership and confidentiality
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and a strong desire to build commercial infrastructure
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and translate legal concepts into business strategies
