Job Summary
To support the legal team of a leading life sciences and biotechnology company, the full-time Commercial Counsel - Life Sciences will provide interim legal support by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements while working remotely for approximately five months.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including distribution and technology contracts
- Provide practical legal guidance on commercial transactions, balancing risk with business objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient contract negotiations and ensure continuity of legal support
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 7+ years of legal experience with substantial experience in commercial agreements
- Strong experience with distribution agreements and technology contracts
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage commercial transactions from review to execution
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
