Job Summary
To support a dynamic legal team, the remote Commercial Counsel with JD will lead the negotiation and lifecycle of key commercial agreements, partner with cross-functional teams to drive deals forward, and enhance contract management frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the negotiation and lifecycle of important commercial agreements, including partnerships and customer contracts
- Collaborate with various teams to unlock opportunities and ensure legally compliant experiences
- Enhance contract templates and workflows to scale legal support across the enterprise
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of commercial contracts experience, with a J.D. and active bar admission in good standing
- Practical knowledge of partnership, distribution, SaaS, and vendor contracts
- Experience with data processing agreements or international commercial work is a plus
- Familiarity with CLM platforms and contract automation is advantageous
- Ability to provide business-oriented legal guidance in a fast-paced environment
