Commercial Credit Associate

Job Summary

To support the assessment and management of credit risk for commercial clients, the full-time remote Commercial Credit Associate will analyze financial statements, monitor loan portfolios, and ensure compliance with credit policies while collaborating with relationship managers throughout the lending process.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate credit needs by underwriting new requests and managing ongoing credit risk through continuous monitoring
• Analyze financial information and complete credit analyses, including risk assessments and structure recommendations
• Partner with relationship managers to maintain accurate risk ratings and participate in client calls to understand business needs

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field with at least 4 years of experience in commercial credit or financial analysis
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis of credit metrics, including the ability to calculate financial ratios
• Familiarity with legal documents and structural elements relevant to credit transactions
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
