Commercial Credit Underwriter
Job Summary
Conducting financial analyses and credit assessments, the full-time salaried Commercial Credit Underwriter will evaluate loan packages, determine creditworthiness, and prepare detailed credit memorandums for presentation to the Credit Committee.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial and credit analyses to ensure compliance with internal regulations
- Analyze loan files and financial statements to assess borrower viability and operating trends
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and approval letters based on thorough credit analysis
Required qualifications
- Minimum of seven years of experience with underwriting ABL/Factoring transactions
- Completion of a formal bank Credit Training Program or RMA Credit Courses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships internally and externally
