Commercial Equipment Valuation Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Equipment Management team, the full-time remote Commercial Equipment Valuation Specialist will conduct equipment research, prepare valuation reports, and manage asset performance and disposition to meet business volume and profitability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct equipment research and analysis to develop reliable residual and collateral value assessments for proposed transactions
• Prepare written valuation reports suitable for internal credit and approval review
• Monitor asset performance and manage the return, storage, inspection, and sale of off-lease equipment

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on asset management experience within a financial institution or operating lessor
• Direct experience in evaluating commercial equipment valuation, equipment finance/leasing, or equipment appraisal
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent equipment management experience
• Proficiency with financial calculators and software such as Supertrump, TValue, and Microsoft Office
• ASA (American Society of Appraisers) designation or active candidate status toward certification preferred
