Commercial Legal Counsel
Job Summary
To support commercial activities in the United States, the remote Commercial Legal Counsel will advise on government contracting and regulatory compliance, managing the contract lifecycle from bid preparation to dispute management.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including customer contracts and NDAs
- Advise on U.S. federal, state, and local government contracting matters, including procurement rules and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide practical legal advice and support contract administration
Required Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial law and U.S. government contracting
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS
- Experience advising on legal and regulatory compliance across multiple U.S. states
- Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements and government contracts effectively
