Job Summary
Supporting the Commercial Lending Team, the full-time Commercial Portfolio Manager will manage a portfolio of commercial loans, serve as the primary contact for borrowers, and assist in underwriting and structuring new loans, all while working remotely from Washington or Oregon.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage existing commercial credit relationships and assist in onboarding new clients
- Conduct annual reviews and document performance against covenants, providing recommendations for credit upgrades or downgrades
- Perform due diligence on financial and legal documents prior to credit submission to safeguard the credit union's resources
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Minimum of four years of loan underwriting experience, preferably in commercial underwriting and analysis
- Familiarity with lending regulations and commercial loan documentation
- Experience with financial analysis software, such as Abrigo Sageworks, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
