Commercial Refrigeration Technician
Job Summary
Providing technical support to end users and field technicians, the full-time hourly Commercial Refrigeration Technician will assist in repairs of cold side foodservice equipment over the phone and email, while also maintaining customer call information and collaborating with manufacturers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions
- Provide technical support for 30+ cases per day, utilizing manuals and diagrams to diagnose equipment issues
- Document customer interactions in a company database to enhance future support efforts
Required qualifications
- Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC, or relevant training/schooling
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift M-F with flexibility, between specified hours
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
- Passion for troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
