Commercial Refrigeration Technician
Job Summary
Providing technical support for cold side foodservice equipment, the full-time hourly Commercial Refrigeration Technician will assist end users and field technicians over the phone and via email while maintaining a customer database and collaborating with manufacturers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating troubleshooting solutions and equipment information
- Handle 30+ technical support cases per day, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues using manuals and diagrams
- Document customer interactions and work closely with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes
Required qualifications
- Experience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC, or relevant training/schooling
- Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Outlook
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Availability for an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST / 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST
