Commercial Title Examiner

Job Summary

Conducting thorough title searches for complex commercial real estate transactions, the remote Commercial Title Examiner will evaluate property records, prepare title commitments, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure title accuracy and insurability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth title searches to determine property ownership, easements, and encumbrances
• Examine title documentation on commercial properties, including multi-parcel transactions and various property types
• Prepare accurate title commitments and reports while communicating with clients and internal teams to resolve title questions

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in title examination with a focus on commercial real estate
• Proficient knowledge of property legal descriptions and chain of title analysis
• Familiarity with ALTA title standards and state-specific regulations
• Experience with title production software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, or equivalent)
• Strong research and analytical skills with a high level of integrity and professionalism
