Commercial Underwriter Associate

Job Summary

Serving as the primary point of contact for insureds and lienholders, the full-time Commercial Underwriter Associate will provide superior customer service, handle policy-related inquiries, and process high-volume policy change requests in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively manage all incoming calls and follow-up calls related to policy inquiries
• Research policy information and exercise underwriting authority while escalating risks beyond designated authority levels
• Assist customers with billing, compliance guidelines, and premium discrepancies while processing policy change requests

Required qualifications

• One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing, spreadsheets, and CRM applications
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
