Commercial Workout Officer
Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of distressed commercial real estate loans, the full-time Senior Associate, Commercial Workout Officer will evaluate property operations, develop loan resolution strategies, and negotiate workout solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the performance of distressed commercial real estate loans, assessing borrower financial conditions and compliance
- Develop and execute loan resolution strategies, including modifications and restructurings, while performing financial analysis and risk assessments
- Lead negotiations with borrowers and stakeholders to achieve effective workout outcomes and oversee judicial foreclosure proceedings
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field is required
- 9+ years of experience in commercial real estate workouts or credit risk management within a regulated financial institution
- Deep understanding of commercial loan documentation and financial analysis of property performance
- Extensive experience in managing judicial foreclosure processes and distressed asset management
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with loan servicing or risk management systems
