Commissioning Director

Job Summary

Driving the commissioning strategy for large-scale, mission-critical data center construction programs, the full-time remote Commissioning Director will manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and operational readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commissioning delivery across concurrent data center construction projects and develop standardized strategies and schedules
• Serve as the senior point of contact for customers during commissioning phases, communicating progress and resolving complex issues
• Drive adoption of commissioning standards and continuous improvement initiatives while overseeing reporting and documentation for the commissioning portfolio

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in data center commissioning within mission-critical environments
• Proven leadership experience managing complex, multi-site construction programs
• Strong technical expertise in electrical and/or mechanical systems, including MEP systems
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence senior stakeholders
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred
