Common Criteria Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support the design and certification of security-focused products, the remote Common Criteria / FIPS Security Engineer will partner with engineering teams to ensure compliance with Common Criteria and FIPS certification requirements, focusing on documentation, validation activities, and security assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to develop products meeting Common Criteria and FIPS certification requirements
- Support certification efforts, including Security Target development and evidence collection
- Review product architectures and security controls for certification readiness and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance and certification programs
- Understanding of secure software development practices and security architecture principles
- Experience reviewing technical designs for alignment with certification requirements
