Communications Manager

Job Summary

To support effective funder engagement, the remote Communications Manager will plan, manage, and implement funder-specific communications while collaborating closely with the Development and Monitoring & Learning Teams to translate strategies into compelling materials and narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage funder-facing communications that align with organizational strategies and effectively engage potential donors
• Plan and implement donor communications in coordination with the Development Team to enhance fundraising efforts
• Collaborate across teams to create high-quality materials for funder outreach, including presentations, reports, and updates on impact

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, focusing on donor or funder engagement
• Proven ability to develop fundraising narratives and donor reports in a nonprofit or philanthropic context
• Strong skills in translating complex strategies into clear messages for diverse audiences
• Experience working with development teams and understanding funder engagement cycles
• Fluency in English (C1 or C2 level required); additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Indonesian are a plus
