Communications Manager

Job Summary

To support the mission of advancing gender and racial equity, the full-time Communications Manager will develop and execute communications strategies, manage content across various platforms, and collaborate with leadership to enhance awareness of organizational initiatives in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective communications strategies and messaging tailored to diverse audiences
• Manage content creation for social media, email newsletters, websites, and press engagements
• Collaborate with Co-Directors to support advocacy and fundraising initiatives through compelling narratives and metrics analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least four years of communications experience, preferably in non-profit social justice organizations
• Familiarity with the challenges faced by family caregivers, pregnant individuals, and people of color in the workplace and education
• Proficiency in WordPress and design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
