Job Summary
Providing support for the DOL ILAB Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning (MEL), and Data Services, the contract Communications Specialist will develop communication materials, synthesize evidence, and make findings accessible while working in a hybrid environment based near Washington, DC.
Key responsibilities
- Develop one-page summaries, infographics, and blog content to communicate findings to nontechnical audiences
- Monitor programs and measure impact to drive actionable insights for global labor programs
- Synthesize evidence and create accessible dissemination materials for stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, design, or a related field
- Experience in research communications and evidence-based publication production
- Demonstrated skills in visual storytelling and accessible publication creation
- Familiarity with Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support
- Ability to produce Section 508-compliant deliverables and coordinate multilingual publications
