Job Summary
To support the Department of Homeland Security's Office of the Chief Information Officer, the remote Communications Specialist will develop and implement communication strategies, synthesize feedback from working groups, and create strategic messaging materials for stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize feedback from working group discussions into actionable themes for draft communications
- Provide strategic feedback for external stakeholder communications regarding the migration of Atlassian products
- Develop strategic messaging materials, including talking points and briefing slides, to support stakeholder engagement efforts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in communications, public policy, or a related field
- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and communication strategies
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
