Communications Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Education Systems & Policy program, the full-time Communications Specialist will develop and implement strategic communications initiatives, translating complex research into engaging content for diverse audiences while working remotely within the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of strategic communications and dissemination plans to enhance project visibility and impact
• Serve as a communications advisor to project teams, guiding messaging and audience engagement strategies
• Translate complex research and policy content into accessible communications products, including infographics and videos

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or Master's degree with 4 years of experience in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public Policy, or a related field
• Experience supporting external clients and managing small teams in a shared services model
• Demonstrated strategic thinking in aligning communications with organizational and project objectives
• Strong consulting and relationship-management skills with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency with digital communications platforms and analytics tools
