Job Summary
Supporting enterprise-scale communications and stakeholder engagement in a remote capacity, the full-time salaried Communications Specialist II will develop written, visual, and multimedia content, manage distribution channels, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards in a fast-paced federal health IT environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver operational communications tailored to specific audiences across various Lines of Business
- Produce training and informational materials to support the adoption of new tools and system enhancements
- Maintain knowledge repositories and manage distribution channels to ensure effective communication and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Affairs, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in communications or content strategy within a federal IT or health IT environment
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva for visual communications
- Experience managing enterprise-level distribution lists and listservs
- Demonstrated ability to lead content development and mentor junior team members
