Community Director

Job Summary

Building and sustaining community presence, the full-time salaried Community Director will manage relationships with local organizations, execute community sponsorships and events, and develop educational pathways to support workforce development, all while working remotely with a base in Atlanta, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a community relations strategy, engaging with local stakeholders and organizations to enhance EdgeConneX's presence
• Oversee community sponsorship programs and events, ensuring alignment with corporate values and measuring impact
• Establish and maintain partnerships with educational institutions to create pathways into data center careers and promote relevant training programs

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in community relations, public affairs, education partnerships, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Education, Political Science, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Proven track record of managing relationships with educational organizations at various levels
• Experience planning and executing community events and sponsorships
• Familiarity with workforce development systems and trades programs is a strong plus
