Community Moderator

Job Summary

The full-time remote TrevorSpace Moderator will assist in managing the online community for LGBTQ youth, focusing on user support, content moderation, and collaboration with crisis services to ensure a safe and affirming environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform community management tasks, including approving user clubs and processing account deletions
• Moderate content to maintain community safety and compliance with guidelines, including reviewing flagged user behavior
• Document user feedback and trends, ensuring timely reporting to law enforcement and relevant agencies when necessary

Required qualifications:

• Experience managing online communities with a focus on harm reduction and user safety
• Experience with online content moderation and implementing trust and safety policies
• Experience submitting reports to law enforcement and child protective services
• Proven collaboration skills, approaching work with empathy and inclusion
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
