Job Summary
To support a vibrant online learning community, the part-time external contractor Community Moderator will monitor forums, provide non-technical support to students, and ensure adherence to community guidelines while working remotely from the USA or Canada.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing students with non-technical support within the community
- Organizing and maintaining the online platform by handling violation posts and ensuring compliance with community guidelines
- Supporting forum activities and collaborating with the Community Manager to enhance member engagement
Required qualifications:
- Residing in the USA or Canada
- Udacity course or Nanodegree graduate is a plus
- Understanding of online community platform moderation tools
- Availability to work across days, evenings, and weekends as required
- Student-oriented mindset with a focus on understanding learner needs
