Job Summary

To support community revitalization efforts, the full-time Community & Land Use Planner will engage in brownfield redevelopment, utilize GIS for analysis, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration while working remotely within the Northern Appalachia service area.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate community engagement activities and support public outreach related to brownfield redevelopment
  • Develop and maintain GIS databases and create visualizations to identify redevelopment opportunities
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders and present planning information to diverse audiences
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Design, or a related field
  • 0 - 4 years of applicable experience
  • Proficiency with technical software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records review
