Job Summary
To support community revitalization efforts, the full-time Community & Land Use Planner will engage in brownfield redevelopment, utilize GIS for analysis, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration while working remotely within the Northern Appalachia service area.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate community engagement activities and support public outreach related to brownfield redevelopment
- Develop and maintain GIS databases and create visualizations to identify redevelopment opportunities
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and present planning information to diverse audiences
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Design, or a related field
- 0 - 4 years of applicable experience
- Proficiency with technical software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records review
