Compensation Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on, highly analytical Compensation Consultant, this full-time contract role will work remotely for 4-6 months, focusing on designing and maintaining compensation and job architecture programs while serving as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nationwide compensation analyses, including market pricing and pay range development
- Design and maintain job architecture, including job families and leveling criteria
- Develop and update salary structures and recommend adjustments based on market movement
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in compensation consulting or as a compensation analyst
- Experience conducting nationwide compensation analyses across multiple geographic markets
- Advanced to expert-level Excel skills, including complex modeling and data visualization
- Demonstrated ability to serve as an empathetic, trusted advisor with strong communication skills
