Competition Computer Science Instructor
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Competition Computer Science Instructor.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate interactive discussions and guide students through lessons in real-time online sessions using text and LaTeX
- Prepare for classes with pre-written lesson plans, typically requiring less than an hour of prep time
- Conduct weekly classes primarily scheduled from 7:20 - 9 pm ET (4:20 - 6 pm PT)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with a solid academic background in computer science
- Experience teaching or tutoring middle school, high school, or university students, preferably with advanced students
- Participation or coaching experience in coding competitions, such as the USACO
- Experience in teaching or tutoring math or math competitions is preferred
- Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the US if residing there
